Mark Webber is unsure if he will remain with Red Bull next season, saying it is too early to make a call on his future following the Malaysian team orders controversy.

Teammate Sebastian Vettel ignored team orders at the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix and passed Webber in the closing stages, leading to speculation that the relationship between Webber and the team was too broken for him to remain in 2014.

Webber, speaking Thursday ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix, says "year by year is how it's always been for me. ... I don't see why I should make any decisions at the moment for my future."

Webber did say he intended to have contract discussions with Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz at the end of the season.
