UNAM moved into the top five in the Mexican Clausura over the weekend after a 2-1 win at Pachuca.

Efrain Velarde notched the opening goal for the visitors in the 53rd minute, only for Pachuca's Paulo Da Silva to equalize three minutes later.

However, UNAM left with all three points as Javier Granados scored six minutes from time, helping the club to collect its seventh point from the last four games and move ahead of Pachuca on goal difference.

Tigres was held to a 0-0 draw at home by Leon, but second-place Atlas failed to take advantage as the club had to settle for the same 0-0 scoreline on home soil against Morelia, leaving Tigres two points clear at the top of the league.

Third-place America could have joined Atlas in second place with a win, but the club was held to a 1-1 draw by Puebla as America needed a 72nd-minute equalizer from Miguel Layun.

Cruz Azul tallied two goals in the second half to down Queretaro, 2-1, while Tijuana and Santos played out a 0-0 draw in the other match on Saturday.

Rafael Lugo scored two goals for Guadalajara, but Franco Arizala's tally in the 81st minute lifted Jaguares to a 3-2 win on Friday.

On Sunday, Toluca topped Monterrey, 1-0, with the lone goal coming in the 71st minute through Juan Cacho, while Luis Rodriguez scored the lone goal in a 1-0 San Luis victory at Atlante despite the visitors playing the final seven minutes with nine men.
