Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will be without defender Pepe for the second leg of his team's Champions League quarterfinal against Galatasaray on Tuesday because of a muscle injury.
Pepe reportedly sustained the injury in training, and his absence will leave Mourinho without the Portugal international as well as fellow defender Sergio Ramos, who picked up a first-leg yellow card.
Mourinho also figures to rest midfielder Xabi Alonso, who also was booked in the first leg in Madrid, which was won 3-0 by the Spanish side.
