Vancouver Canucks center Ryan Kesler returned to play in Monday's game against Phoenix.

Kesler had been out close to two months after suffering a broken right foot in a game against Dallas on Feb. 15. It was his first game of the season after recovering from offseason surgery on his wrist and shoulder.

He went on to play the next six games after the injury, but a CT scan showed the fracture and he has been out since a Feb. 26 game against Phoenix.

In seven games this season, the 28-year-old, a former Selke Trophy winner, has posted a goal and four assists.
