Bayern has been dominant in league play this season, dropping just nine points and conceding just 13 goals through its first 28 games.
That sensational form has helped the club become the fastest-ever Bundesliga champions, winning the title with six matches to spare.
Bastian Schweinsteiger provided the lone goal of the affair, scoring in the 52nd minute with a cheeky back heel for his seventh league goal of the season.
Manuel Neuer produced several keys saves down the stretch to preserve the victory and effectively end the title race.
With 75 points, Bayern sits just six points behind Borussia Dortmund's record of 81 points in a season.
Eintracht has lost two of its last three league contests to remain on 42 points.
Borussia Dortmund 4, Augsburg 2
Dortmund, Germany - Borussia Dortmund's title hopes came to an end on Saturday despite claiming a 4-2 victory over Augsburg.
Julian Schieber had opened the scoring in the 22nd minute before Daniel Baier and Kevin Vogt handed Augsburg the lead with goals in the span of a minute.
Schieber equalized for the home side in the 52nd minute before Neven Subotic grabbed what turned out to be the game-winner 12 minutes later. Robert Lewandowski tacked on a fourth goal for Dortmund, equaling Klaus Allofs' record of scoring in 10 straight Bundesliga contests.
Dortmund remains in second place in Germany's top flight, 20 points behind Bayern Munich. Augsburg's two successive losses leave the club third from bottom on 24 points.
Schalke 2, Werder Bremen 0
Bremen, Germany - Schalke received two second-half goals to secure its second straight win in Bundesliga play, defeating Werder Bremen 2-0 at the Weserstadion on Saturday.
A scoreless first half gave way to the visitors breaking the deadlock six minutes after the restart thanks to Julian Draxler. Ciprian Marica doubled the advantage 18 minutes later to seal the victory and lift Schalke to 45 points on the season.
Werder Bremen, winless in its last seven league matches, remains on 31 points.
Monchengladbach 1, Greuther Furth 0
Monchengladbach, Germany - Monchengladbach made the most of a second-half red card at Borussia Park on Saturday, scoring 16 minutes from time to earn a 1-0 defeat over 10-man Greuther Furth.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 66th minute when Matthias Zimmermann was issued his marching orders. Monchengladbach wasted no time in taking advantage of the extra man as Luuk de Jong scored eight minutes later to see the club rise to 41 points.
Furth remains rooted to the foot of the Bundesliga table with just 15 points from its 28 matches.
Bayer Leverkusen 1, Wolfsburg 1
Leverkusen, Germany - Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg scored on opposite sides of halftime at the BayArena on Saturday as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw.
Andre Schurrle gave the home side the lead in the 12th minute only to see Simon Kjaer level the score for Wolfsburg 20 minutes from time.
The draw sees Leverkusen slip further behind second-place Dortmund as the club climbs to 49 points. Wolfsburg has drawn three straight Bundesliga matches to improve to 33 points.
Freiburg 1, Hamburg 0
Hamburg, Germany - Freiburg won its second Bundesliga match on the bounce on Saturday as Jonathan Schmid's second-half goal lifted to the club to a 1-0 victory over Hamburg at the Imtech Arena.
The lone goal came in the 69th minute, helping Freiburg build upon its 2-0 defeat of Monchengladbach last time out and lifting the club to 42 points on the season.
Hamburg has lost three in a row to remain on 38 points.
