The Buffalo Bills have reportedly signed free agent quarterback Kevin Kolb on Saturday night.

The Buffalo News is reporting that the deal is for two years with a maximum value of around $13 million.

He is expected to compete with Tarvaris Jackson, who signed a one-year deal with the club last month, for the starting job.

Kolb led the Arizona Cardinals to a 4-0 start last season, but was knocked out for the rest of the season in a game against Buffalo as he suffered detached ribs and a sprained shoulder. He also missed a total of five games in 2011 and 2010 with separate concussions.

Over six seasons in the NFL, the second-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007 has completed 59.5 percent of his pass attempts for 5,206 yards along with 28 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in 34 games with the Eagles and Cardinals.
