The Philadelphia Flyers acquired defenseman Kent Huskins from the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday in exchange for a conditional 2014 draft pick.
Huskins has appeared in 11 games with the Red Wings this season without registering a point.
The veteran blueliner has tallied 13 goals and 54 assists in 310 regular- season games with Anaheim, San Jose, St. Louis and Detroit.
Huskins earned a Stanley Cup title in his first NHL season with the Ducks in 2007 and has three points in 48 career postseason contests.
