The Baltimore Ravens have reached a three- year agreement in principle with former Oakland Raiders safety Michael Huff.

Huff started all 16 games for the Raiders in 2012, recording 56 tackles, two interceptions and 13 passes defensed.

Originally selected seventh overall in the 2006 draft, Huff has spent his entire career with Oakland. In 108 career games (93 starts), Huff has posted 438 tackles, 5 1/2 sacks, 11 interceptions and 55 passes defensed.

Huff is expected to immediately start for the Ravens, who lost both starting safeties from last season. Ed Reed signed with the Houston Texans, while Bernard Pollard was released.
