The Cincinnati Bengals and defensive back Adam Jones have officially agreed to a three-year contract.

Better known as "Pacman," Jones becomes the team's seventh player to be re- signed this offseason and the second on Monday, as wide receiver/kick returner Brandon Tate also re-inked a deal.

The 29-year-old West Virginia product has spent the past three seasons with Cincinnati after sitting out 2009. He also missed the 2007 campaign as a penalty for numerous violations of the NFL's player conduct policy.

Jones started five of the 16 games he played last season, recording 40 tackles with one sack and a forced fumble. He has appeared in 29 games with 13 starts during his tenure in Cincinnati.

Before joining the Bengals, Jones spent two seasons with Tennessee and part of another with Dallas.
