Manuel Villegas closed with a 4-under 67 on Sunday to win the TransAmerican Power Products CRV Open by one stroke.

Villegas finished at 8-under-par 276 at the Atlas Country Club. This was not only his first win on the Latinoamerica Tour, but it was also his first top-10 finish on that circuit.

Jose De Jesus Rodriguez fired a 5-under 66 to grab second place at minus-7.

Carlos Franco (68), Jose Octavio Gonzalez (68) and Bronson Burgoon (70) shared third place at 3-under-par 281.

Villegas, the brother of Camilo Villegas, birdied the third, but gave that shot back with a bogey on the sixth. He birdied the eighth and 10th to move to 6-under.

The Colombian stumbled to another bogey at the 12th, but jumped to 7-under with an eagle on the par-5 15th. Villegas closed with a birdie at the last to seal the win.

Rodriguez birdied the fifth, then collected back-to-back birdies at eight and nine to make the turn at 5-under. He grabbed a share of the lead with birdie at 13 and 15, but parred the last three to end one back.
