Tiger Woods is one round away from returning to No. 1 in the world.
Woods made an eagle for the third straight day at Bay Hill on his way to a 6-under 66 to race by Justin Rose and take a two-shot lead in the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Rickie Fowler (67) and John Huh (71) also were two shots behind.
With a victory Sunday, Woods will be No. 1 in the world ranking for the first time since the last week of October in 2010.
Fowler will play in the final group with Woods and he faces a daunting task. Woods is 41-2 on the PGA Tour when he has the outright lead going into the final round.
Rose shot 39 on the back nine to lose a three-shot lead. He shot 72.
