The Cincinnati Bengals signed quarterback Josh Johnson and re-signed tight end Richard Quinn on Saturday.

Both were unrestricted free agents as Johnson joins the team after a brief stay in Cleveland last season, while Quinn is coming back for a second season with the Bengals.

Johnson was on the Browns' roster for the final game of 2012. He played his first four seasons with Tampa Bay and played in 26 games with five starts.

He is 96-for-177 with 1,042 yards, five touchdowns and 10 interceptions while adding 37 rushes for 254 yards.

Quinn didn't appear in a game for the Bengals last season, but he was on the roster for 15 games and the playoff game. Over four seasons in the NFL he has played in 30 games with Denver and Washington and has just one catch for nine yards.
