Harvard students were on spring break when their basketball team beat New Mexico for the school's first NCAA tournament victory ever.

Tourists shuffled through the snow-covered yard on Friday, a day after the 14th-seeded Crimson beat the No. 3-seeded Lobos 68-62 in Salt Lake City.

A few students who stuck around during break said they were looking forward to Saturday's game against Arizona. The winner will go to the Sweet 16.

Harvard President Drew Gilpin Faust was giving a speech in Seoul during the game. A spokesman says she called coach Tommy Amaker to congratulate him and the team and wish them luck in the next round.
