The Cincinnati Bengals and defensive back Adam Jones have agreed to a three-year contract.

Better known as "Pacman," Jones announced the news via Twitter on Thursday.

"Happy to say this morning that i agreed to a three year deal with the Bengals Stand up WHODEY!!!!!" wrote Jones.

The 29-year-old West Virginia product has spent the past three seasons with Cincinnati after sitting out 2009. He also missed the 2007 campaign as a penalty for numerous violations of the NFL's player conduct policy.

Jones started five of the 16 games he played last season, recording 40 tackles with one sack and a forced fumble. He has appeared in 29 games with 13 starts during his tenure in Cincinnati.

Before joining the Bengals, Jones spent two seasons with Tennessee and part of another with Dallas.
