The Washington Redskins have signed veteran right tackle Jeremy Trueblood.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The rangy Trueblood (6-foot-8, 320 pounds) was originally selected out of Boston College by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and appeared in 101 regular season games with the Bucs, including 84 starts.

In 2012, Trueblood appeared in nine games with just one start for Tampa Bay.

He is expected to compete with fellow free agent addition Tony Pashos as well as holdovers Tom Compton and Maurice Hurt for playing time with the Redskins.
