Jaromir Jagr will try to maintain his recent scoring touch as his Dallas Stars aim for a third straight win when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday.

The 41-year-old Jagr has scored in three straight games, posting four goals over that stretch to give him nine markers this season. The future Hall of Famer now has 674 career goals, leaving him 16 shy of matching his former Pittsburgh teammate Mario Lemieux for ninth place on the NHL's all-time list.

Jagr scored twice to help the Stars to Thursday's 5-2 road win in Los Angeles. It was the third win in four games for Dallas, which beat an L.A. team that had won seven of its previous eight contests.

"I have more hunger for goals than I did last year," said Jagr, who has nine goals in 22 games this year after posting 19 in 73 last season with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Cody Eakin added a goal and assisted on Brenden Morrow's go-ahead tally in the third period for the Stars. Kari Lehtonen made 31 saves to pick up the win and snap the Kings' six-game home winning streak.

Stars captain Brenden Morrow suffered a strained groin in Thursday's win and is questionable for Saturday. However, defenseman Philip Larsen could be back after sitting out the previous five games with an upper-body injury.

The Stars are completing a brief two-game swing on Saturday and are 7-5-1 as the road team this season. Dallas begins a four-game homestand with Tuesday's contest against Nashville.

Meanwhile, the Coyotes will try to halt a two-game slide on Saturday after suffering consecutive regulation losses to Anaheim and St. Louis. The most recent setback came in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Blues, who spoiled the opener of Phoenix's three-game homestand.

Shane Doan, David Moss and Keith Yandle lit the lamp for the Coyotes, while Mike Smith allowed all six goals on 29 shots.

"I don't think there's one area of our game that we can be too happy with," Doan said. "Everyone should be disappointed."

Phoenix fell to 8-5-1 as the host this season and will complete its homestand Tuesday against Los Angeles.

Saturday's game is the fourth and final scheduled meeting between the Stars and Coyotes this season. Dallas has won two of the three encounters in 2013, but Phoenix has won the last three meetings on home ice.
