Doug McDermott had 25 points and nine rebounds, and Creighton reached the final of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament with a 64-43 victory over Indiana State on Saturday.

Creighton, the top seed in the tournament, will face the winner of Saturday's late game between Wichita State and Illinois State in the final on Sunday.

McDermott was 6 of 7 from 3-point range, and 8 of 10 overall, for the Bluejays (26-7), who opened the game on an 11-2 run and later scored 18 unanswered points en route to a 41-18 halftime lead.

The Sycamores (18-14) couldn't get much closer in the second half as Creighton cruised to the victory.

Gregory Echenique added 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting for Creighton, which shot 61.5 percent from the floor in the first half and 53.5 percent overall.

Manny Arop had 13 points to lead ISU, which shot 26.5 percent from the floor.
