The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard Shelvin Mack to a 10-day contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Mack will be playing for his third team this season, having previously spent time with both Washington and Philadelphia. He was let go by the Sixers in early February and subsequently joined the Maine Red Claws of the NBA's D- League, where the 22-year-old averaged 20.1 points and 7.7 assists over 23 games.

The second-year guard averaged 3.6 points and 2.2 assists over a combined 11 outings with the Wizards and 76ers this season.

To make room for Mack on the roster, the Hawks waived center Jeremy Tyler.

Tyler appeared in just one game with Atlanta after being acquired from Golden State at the Feb. 21 trade deadline.
