Alec Brown scored 18 points and Jordan Fouse posted a double-double as the Green Bay Phoenix eased into the second round of the Horizon League Tournament with a 62-46 win over the Milwaukee Panthers at the Resch Center.

Fouse had 12 points to go with 11 rebounds, Keifer Sykes added 16 points and five assists and Greg Mays collected 10 boards for fourth-seed Green Bay (17-14) which will take on fifth-seed Illinois-Chicago in Friday's second round.

Paris Gulley netted 14 points and Jordan Aaron added 10 for ninth-seed Milwaukee (8-24).

Both teams were ice-cold to start the game. Green Bay shot just 28.1 percent from the floor and made good on only 1-of-8 from beyond the arc. Milwaukee was even worse shooting 23.1 percent from the field. The Phoenix led 27-21 at the break.

After halftime the Phoenix found a bit more success and connected on 40.7 percent from the field to pull away for the win.

Green Bay had a 17-6 edge in points off turnovers while dominating with a 47-35 advantage on the boards.
