Kansas and Kansas State are tied for first place as the Big 12 enters the stretch run.

The sixth-ranked Jayhawks improved to 25-4 and 13-3 in the league with a blowout win over West Virginia on Saturday, while the No. 13 Wildcats improved to 24-5 and 13-3 with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer that knocked off Baylor.

Kansas is chasing at least a share of its ninth straight conference title, while the Wildcats are trying to wrap up a share of their first regular-season crown since 1977.

Kansas has the easier finishing stretch with games against Texas Tech on Monday night and Baylor next weekend, while the Wildcats host bottom-dweller TCU on Tuesday night before finishing at Oklahoma State next weekend.

The Cowboys are a game back of both in the standings.
