Jerran Young posted 14 points and 10 Wright State teammates scored as the Raiders routed Youngstown State 72-45 Saturday.

Wright State (19-11, 10-6 Horizon League) led throughout, taking a 39-19 halftime lead. This wasn't like Youngstown State's 68-61 home victory over the Raiders on Jan. 23. The Penguins (16-14, 7-9) played without leading scorer Kendrick Perry Saturday, still out with a knee injury.

Damien Eargle was the only Youngstown State player in double figures with 11 points.

With the victory, Wright State got a first-round bye in the Horizon League tournament. The third-seeded Raiders will play the winner of Tuesday's first-round game between Youngstown State and Loyola.

Matt Vest scored 11 points for Wright State, which outscored Youngstown State 42-14 in the paint, 19-3 on points off turnovers and 33-13 in bench scoring. The Penguins made just 14 of 39 from the floor, 6 of 20 in the first half.
