Demarquelle Tabb and Brandon Ellis scored 14 apiece in Alabama A&M's wire-to-wire win over Grambling State 74-47 Thursday night.

Justan Banks had a near double-double, 10 points and nine rebounds to help Alabama A&M (10-18, 6-11 Southwestern Athletic Conference) snap a three-game skid.

The Bulldogs scored the first 11 points of the game and led at halftime 32-17.

Grambling State shot just 21.9 percent (7 of 32) in the first half.

Alabama A&M led by as many as 30 points in the second half.

The Bulldogs had the advantage inside, outrebounding the Tigers 45-30 and outscoring them 34-22 in the paint.

Nicholas West scored eight points off the bench, helping Alabama A&M lead 27-21 in bench points.

Grambling State (0-26, 0-17) did not have any players in double figures. Bryant Purvis led the Tigers in scoring with nine points.
