Rome, Italy – Lazio will be without defender Abdoulay Konko for the next six weeks after he sustained a knee injury in Monday's 2-0 win over Pescara.
Konko limped off just seven minutes into Monday's win, which moved Lazio to within five points of second-place Napoli.
But it has been confirmed that the 28-year-old will be out for the next six weeks, leaving Lazio without a strong defensive option.
Konko has started 21 of Lazio's 26 games in Serie A this term, scoring one goal.
