Stoke City defender Robert Huth has been handed a three-game suspension by the English FA after deciding not to appeal a charge of violent conduct.

Huth struck Fulham defender Philippe Senderos in the face in an incident away from the ball which was not spotted by the match referee, but which did appear in video footage.

The FA has since decided to charge Huth with violent conduct, and the German has accepted the punishment of a three-game ban.

Huth has started all 27 of Stoke's Premiership games this season, but he will miss matches with West Ham, Newcastle and West Bromwich in the coming weeks.
