Regulation time had expired, but a second was put back on the clock after the technical against Jackson State's bench.

Terrell Kennedy had 16 points and eight rebounds, Hammond had 11 points and eight assists and Davon Haynes had 10 points and eight rebounds for Pine Bluff.

Kelsey Howard led Jackson State (8-17, 7-9) with 23 points. Christian Williams had 21 points and Willie Readus added 14. The Tigers saw their three-game winning streak end.
