Jarome Iginla and Curtis Glencross scored in the final 1:23 of regulation to lift the Calgary Flames over the Phoenix Coyotes, 5-4, on Sunday.

Iginla ended with a pair of goals for the Flames, who have won two in a row since a two-game skid. Mike Cammalleri and Tim Jackman also scored.

"When you get a win like that, late in the game, it's huge for the mental part of the game," Glencross said.

Joey MacDonald made 23 saves for Calgary, which avenged a 4-0 loss to Phoenix on Feb. 18.

Raffi Torres had two goals for the Coyotes, who were coming off Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss at Edmonton. Nick Johnson and Michael Stone also lit the lamp.

"We stopped playing and you can't stop playing against those guys over there," Torres said.

Mike Smith stopped 26-of-31 shots in defeat.

Down 4-3 late in the third period, Iginla received a cross-ice pass from Alex Tanguay and beat Smith with a wrist shot. The goal tied the game with 1:23 to play.

Just 23 seconds later, Glencross' slap shot from the top of the slot got past Smith.

Phoenix failed to score in the final minute.

Jackman scored the lone goal of the first period. Chris Butler's shot from the left point never made it to Smith as it hit off a maze of players. Jackman gathered the loose puck and beat Smith with a shot from the side of the net.

Phoenix needed a bit of luck to score its first goal of the contest. Stone's shot from the point hit off a player in front and then deflected off the skate of Calgary's Jay Bouwmeester. The disc slid across the goal line and Stone was awarded with the power-play goal at the 5:32 mark of the middle stanza,

Torres gave the Coyotes a 2-1 lead with 5:59 left. Torres took a nice feed from Matthew Lombardi and beat MacDonald with a backhander.

Iginla answered for Calgary just 2:25 later, poking a puck loose in the crease through Smith to tie the game. Cammalleri scored with 34.3 seconds remaining to give the Flames a 3-2 lead.

At the 2:22 mark of the third, Torres finished a play he helped start by putting home a Zbynek Michalek pass.

Johnson cleaned up a rebound at the 8:48 mark to give Phoenix a 4-3 edge.
