Joe Ledley scored on each side of halftime on Sunday as Celtic thumped Dundee, 5-0, at Celtic Park.
Ledley opened the scoring 13 minutes into the contest for the Scottish Premier League leaders, who went into the interval with just the one-goal advantage.
After the break it was all Celtic. Matthew Lockwood was sent off in the 49tth minute, reducing Dundee to 10 men, and Celtic made it 2-0 just a minute later after James Forrest bagged a spot kick.
Dylan McGeouch made it 3-0 seven minutes later and Ledley got his second of the game in the 73rd minute. Gary Hooper finished off the rout with a goal in the 83rd minute for Celtic, who widened their margin atop the SPL to 21 points over second-place Inverness.
Also on Sunday, Dundee United and Hibernian played to a 2-2 draw at Tannadice Park. John Rankin put the Dundee United ahead just five minutes into the game, but James McPake answered for Hibernian in the 27th minute to make it 1-1.
Leigh Griffiths put Hibernian ahead in the 50th minute, but Johnny Russell converted a penalty kick four minutes from time to rescue a point for Dundee United, who sit in ninth place with 37 points, while Hibernian rise to sixth with 38 points.
