Cleveland Cavaliers forward Omri Casspi had his appendix removed on Saturday night after experiencing abdominal pain prior to the team's game in Orlando.

Casspi was unable to suit up for the contest against the Magic and instead was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. He stayed overnight and will be re-evaluated later on Sunday.

The 6-foot-9 Israeli has averaged 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game over 29 contests this season.
