Ryan Woods scored 23 points and Chris Flores added 21 as New Jersey Institute of Technology cruised to an 84-64 win over New Orleans on Saturday to win its fourth straight game and split the season series.

The Highlanders (15-11), who lead the Great West Conference, have won six of their last seven games since a 96-94 triple-overtime loss to the Privateers on Jan. 21.

Leading 23-20, NJIT used a 15-0 run to pull away. Woods made two 3-pointers in the spurt and Flores made one. The Highlanders led 40-23 at halftime, then maintained a lead of at least 12 points.

NJIT was 22 of 32 from the line compared to just 8 of 15 for the Privateers.

Freshman Evans Ganapamo scored a career-high 18 points off the bench for New Orleans (8-16), which has lost three of its last four games and is 0-11 on the road this season.
