Kwame Vaughn scored all 18 of his points in the second half, helping Cal State Fullerton pull away for a 63-57 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday in a BracketBusters game.

Vaughn was 0 for 4 from the field in the first half, but hit 6 of 11 shots and 5 of 8 free throws in the second half.

D.J. Seeley added 16 points and Alex Harris had 13 for the Titans (13-13).

Jelanie Curry, who entered the day with seven points total on the season, led Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4-20) with 13 points off the bench. Hameed Ali added 11. Leading scorer Will Nelson, who entered averaging almost 13 points per game, was held to eight points on 3-of-11 shooting, but grabbed 12 rebounds.

Fullerton broke a 40-40 tie with seven straight points and extended the run to 12-3 to take its biggest lead at 52-43 with 7:11 remaining.
