Mansacola's late basket gives UC Davis 79-78 victory over Northern Colorado

DAVIS, Calif. – Paolo Mansacola drained an 18-foot shot with 1.8 seconds left in the game, allowing UC Davis to defeat Northern Colorado in a BracketBusters game on Saturday.

Corey Hawkins scored 34 points to lead UC Davis (12-14). He was 12 of 19 from the floor, 4 of 8 from 3-point range, 6 of 8 from the free-throw line and had 6 rebounds, 6 assists and a pair of steals.

J.T. Adenrele chipped in with 18 points and 9 rebounds.

Tate Unruh led Northern Colorado (9-17) with 21 points. Derrick Barden scored 17 points and Paul Garnica had 12 points and 7 assists.

Northern Colorado had a 29-7 scoring advantage off the bench.
