The Washington Wizards have traded guard Jordan Crawford to the Boston Celtics in exchange for guard Leandro Barbosa and center Jason Collins.

Crawford is averaging 13.2 points, 3.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 43 games, all but 12 coming off the bench, this season. He has averaged 13.4 points in 149 games with Wizards since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2010-11.

Barbosa, in his 10th NBA season, is averaging 5.2 points in 41 games, all but two off the bench. He was in his first season with the Celtics after playing for Phoenix, Toronto and Indiana.

The former Sixth Man of the Year has averaged 12.0 points in 629 NBA games. He will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL earlier this month.

Collins is a 12-year veteran who had been used sparingly by the Celtics in 2012-13, having averaged just 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds over 32 games. The 34-year-old has also played for the New Jersey Nets, Memphis, Minnesota and Atlanta and owns 707 games of NBA experience.
