Brittney Griner recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as No. 1 Baylor defeated TCU, 78-45, on Saturday.

Griner shot 11-of-14 from the field for the Lady Bears (24-1, 14-0 Big 12), who have not lost since Nov. 16 against Stanford. Brooklyn Pope and Alexis Prince scored 10 points apiece.

Kamy Cole scored nine points for TCU (7-17, 0-13), which remains winless in Big 12 competition and has not won since Dec. 19 against Texas A&M-CC.

Veja Hamilton scored the first two points of the game for the Horned Frogs, but it would be the only time they would have the lead.

Leading 10-8 with 15:07 to go in the first half, Baylor's Kimetria Hayden made a 3-pointer to start a 17-2 run, putting the game out of reach before halftime.

Entering the second half, Baylor had a 42-20 margin.

TCU got within 16, 43-27, early in the second half, but the Horned Frogs were unable to get any closer.

Griner blocked a shot against Donielle Breaux with 14:42 remaining to record her 74th consecutive game with at least one block. She later started and finished a 14-2 run for the Lady Bears to give her team a 65-37 advantage with 8 1/2 minutes remaining in regulation.

TCU shot just 26.2 percent from the field for the game, including 6-for-27 from beyond the arc.
