Miami has made a late addition to its signing class, with running back Cornelius Elder of Nashville signing his letter of intent Wednesday.

Elder is a two-sport star at The Ensworth School, standing out in football and basketball. In football, he was listed as the nation's seventh-best running back in this recruiting class by Rivals.com, and he's averaging more than 20 points on the basketball court.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Elder ran for 6,351 yards and 84 touchdowns in his high school career, helping his team win three straight state titles.

Miami has 18 players signed as part of this year's class.
