No. 8 Penn State handles Indiana

Bloomington, IN – Alex Bentley and Maggie Lucas each scored 20 points to lead No. 8 Penn State over Indiana, 76-54, on Thursday.

Mia Nickson and Dara Taylor added 13 and 10 points, respectively, for the Lady Lions (19-3, 9-1 Big Ten), who have won 13 of their last 14 games.

Aulani Sinclair ended with 21 points for the Hoosiers (10-13, 1-9), who have lost eight straight. Jasmine McGhee tallied 12 points.

Indiana got within three, 37-34, early in the second half, but the Lady Lions responded with a 17-3 run. Lucas tallied five points during the surge, including a jumper with 11:51 remaining to make it 54-37.
