Ryan Woods scored a career-high 26 points Wednesday night to lead New Jersey Institute of Technology to a 77-58 victory over Colgate on Wednesday night in a nonconference game.
For the Highlanders (12-11), it was also their largest margin of victory on the road since the program went Division I in the 2006-07 season.
Woods, a senior, hit 10 of 12 field goal attempts, including 6 of 7 from 3-point range. Seventeen of his points came in the second half, turning a 40-31 halftime lead into a 19-point rout.
Woods got double-figure help from two teammates. Chris Flores scored 12 points and P.J. Miller added 10 more as the Highlanders breezed to the win.
For Colgate (9-15), Pat Moore led the Raiders in scoring with 14 points. John Brandenburg added 13, and Murphy Burnatowski also finished in double figures with 11 points.
