Swansea City captain Garry Monk signed a one-year contract extension on Monday that ties him to the club until the summer of 2015.
The 33-year-old is one of just three players to have played for the Swans in all four divisions of the English game, and his extension comes only one day after Leon Britton signed a new 3 1/2-year contract to remain at the Liberty Stadium.
"I'm delighted," Monk told the club's official website. "This club has been my life for nearly 10 years and I love it here. My heart is here and I've never wanted to leave from the very first day I arrived."
Monk has found it more difficult to break into the first team this season, having made just five starts in the league this term.
Last season Monk started 14 Premiership matches for Swansea, which finished its first campaign in the top flight in 11th place.
