Pittsburgh coach Paul Chryst helped turn Wisconsin into an offensive powerhouse by recruiting massive offensive linemen that paved the way to the end zone.

Finally settled at Pitt, Chryst is doing the same with the Panthers.

Pitt signed 27 players on National Signing Day, including five offensive linemen that Chryst expects to be the foundation the Panthers build around as they head into the ACC next year.

All five of the linemen are at least 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, including highly touted Dorian Johnson of Belle Vernon, Pa. Chryst called Johnson one of the best athletes he's ever recruited and anticipates Johnson could make an immediate impact.

The Panthers also signed three players from four-time defending Pennsylvania state champion Clairton High: wide receiver Tyler Boyd and defensive backs Titus Howard and Terrish Webb.
