Frisco, TX – Frisco, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Stars placed forward Ray Whitney on injured reserve Tuesday.
The move is retroactive to Nov. 9 when the 41-year-old suffered a lower-body injury in a 5-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Whitney has one goal and seven assists in 17 games this season.
The Stars also recalled forward Travis Morin from Texas of the American Hockey League.
