Sinsheim, Germany – Hoffenheim announced Thursday the it has landed Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Gomes has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, losing his place to Brad Friedel and Hugo Lloris. The temporary move should help the Brazilian receive regular first-team action.
The 31-year-old has managed 136 appearances for Spurs since joining from PSV Eindhoven in 2008.
