Ray McCallum scored 24 points and Detroit took control in the second half for an 83-76 victory over Wright State Wednesday night in a Horizon League game.

The Titans (14-8, 6-3) trailed 41-40 at halftime but outscored the Raiders (14-8, 5-4) 43-35 after the break. The victory avenged a 64-62 loss to Wright State on Jan. 21.

The deciding factor this time was 3-point shooting. Detroit was 9 of 19 from beyond the arc, including 3 of 5 by McCallum. Wright State, however, was a woeful 9 of 34.

McCallum got double-figure help from three teammates. Nick Minnerath scored 18 points, Doug Anderson added 15 and Juwan Howard Jr. chipped in 11.

For Wright State, Jerran Young led the Raiders with 14 points. Reggie Arceneaux totaled 12 more, while Kendall Griffin and Cole Darling scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
