Chicago's Farias named MISL Player of Week

Chicago Soul midfielder Carlos Farias has been named the Major Indoor Soccer League's Player of the Week for Week 13 of the 2012-13 season.

Farias notched 20 points in three games this past week, setting a new league record for 3-pointers in a game in the process.

The Soul midfielder recorded a 3-point goal and two assists before halftime in the team's 23-14 victory over the Wichita Wings. He then scored all three of the Soul's second-half goals to lead them to victory.

Farias went on to produce a five-point game in the Soul's 15-12 win, another match against the Wings, before scoring again on Sunday to take the MISL lead with seven 3-point goals this term.
