Mario Balotelli has completed his move from Premier League club Manchester City to Serie A side AC Milan, it was announced Thursday.
News of Balotelli's transfer was broken on Tuesday with only a medical to be completed. The 22-year-old has since passed the examination and has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Italian giants.
"AC Milan announces that it has acquired from Manchester City Mario Balotelli, who has signed a contract until 30 June 2017," read a statement on AC Milan's official website.
The move brings an end to Balotelli's two-and-a-half-year spell in England. 'Super Mario' helped the Citizens win the league title last season in addition to the FA Cup in 2011.
