Prague, Czech Republic – Former Wimbledon winner and world No. 8 star Petra Kvitova will lead the two-time defending champion Czech Republic in its Fed Cup tie against visiting Australia next week.
The Czechs will feature the same lineup that captured a second straight Fed Cup title last year.
Kvitova will be joined by Lucie Safarova, Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka. The team is captained by Petr Pala.
The Czechs and Aussies will square off Feb. 9-10 at CEZ Arena in Ostrava.
The Czech Republic repeated as Fed Cup champs last fall by beating Serbia 3-1 in the final in Prague.
