Baylor is again the top team in women's college basketball.

The Lady Bears are No. 1 in the Associated Press poll for the fourth straight week, receiving 37 first-place votes -- two more than last week -- and a total of 997 points from a nationwide media panel.

Notre Dame remained second and Connecticut again held onto the third spot. The Huskies picked up the other three first-place votes.

Stanford moved up two places to fourth, while Duke dipped one spot to fifth. The Blue Devils had garnered three first-place votes in last week's poll, then suffered their first loss of the season -- a 79-49 setback at UConn last Monday.

California, Penn State, Kentucky, Tennessee and Maryland complete this week's top 10. Kentucky slipped three places from fifth after a 55-50 loss at South Carolina last Thursday.

The second 10 consists of North Carolina, Louisville, Georgia, Purdue, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Dayton, UCLA, Oklahoma State and Florida State. The Cowgirls tumbled seven places from 12th after a 76-70 loss at Kansas State last Wednesday.

Oklahoma, Colorado, Iowa State, Iowa and Delaware are the last five teams ranked. Iowa and Delaware are this week's newcomers, replacing Michigan and Michigan State.
