DeWayne Walker leaves New Mexico State for Jaguars

New Mexico State announced Thursday that head football coach DeWayne Walker has accepted the defensive backs coaching position with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Walker was the Aggies' head coach from 2008-12. He was 1-11 this past season, and 10-40 during his tenure at New Mexico State.

Before coaching New Mexico State, Walker was the defensive coordinator for UCLA from 2006-08, and coached the Bruins in a loss against BYU in the 2007 Las Vegas Bowl.
