The American tandem of Bob and Mike Bryan are one victory away from a sixth Australian Open title.

The top-seeded Bryan brothers beat the Italian duo of Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 on Thursday. The other semifinal saw the Dutch team of Robin Haase and Igor Sijsling down the third-seeded Spanish squad of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez, 7-5, 6-4.

The Bryans won the Aussie Open doubles crown in 2006 and '07, and again for three straight years from 2009-2011. They lost in the championship match last year to Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek.

A victory in Saturday night's (Australia time) final would give the Bryans a 13th Grand Slam doubles crown, which would be the second-most in the open era. Australian Todd Woodbridge has the most Grand Slam men's doubles championships with 16.
