Glasgow, Scotland – Australian midfielder Tom Rogic was granted a work permit from the British government on Monday, allowing him to complete a move to Celtic.
The 20-year-old Rogic makes the move to the United Kingdom on a 4 1/2-year contract from Australian side Central Coast Mariners, where he played in 28 matches over the past two seasons.
"Celtic are delighted to announce that a work permit for Australian Tom Rogic has been approved," the club said in a statement. "The highly-rated youngster will now return to Australia to complete some final paperwork before returning to Glasgow and getting his Hoops career underway."
