Raul Jimenez scored a pair of first- half goals to help America roll to a 4-0 win over Atlante on Saturday, keeping the club's perfect start to the season intact.

Jesus Molina provided the opening tally after 11 minutes before Jimenez doubled the advantage on the half-hour mark.

He was at it again eight minutes later to give America a 3-0 halftime lead, while Cristian Benitez capped the scoring 10 minutes from time with his second goal of the season.

America has won its first three games by a combined score of 8-1, while Atlante has been outscored 9-1 in losing its first three fixtures of the campaign.

Tigres has also won its first three games this season after securing a 1-0 triumph over Atlas courtesy of Emanuel Villa's 38th-minute goal, while Tijuana's 2-1 victory at UNAM handed the defending champions their third win in as many matches.

On Friday, Toluca got a goal from Lucas Oliveira in the 77th minute of a 2-1 win at Leon and Monterrey finished in a 1-1 draw against Jaguares after conceding the equalizer to Franco Arizala 12 minutes from time.

Pachuca and Queretaro played to a 1-1 draw, Morelia secured a 2-1 win at San Luis despite playing the final 60 minutes with 10 men, Luis Noriega scored the winning goal in stoppage time as Puebla topped Santos, 2-1, and Cruz Azul held on for a 1-1 draw at Guadalajara even though the club finished the match with nine men.
