Shawn Marion tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds along with three steals to help the Dallas Mavericks down the Orlando Magic, 111-105, on Sunday at Amway Center.

Seven Mavericks scored in double-figures, with Vince Carter and O.J. Mayo each finishing with 15 points. Carter also had six assists and three blocks in the victory for Dallas, which bounced back after having its four-game winning streak snapped against Oklahoma City on Friday.

"I think we're really hitting our stride right now," said Carter. "We're shooting it well."

Dirk Nowitzki added 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three blocks and Chris Kaman finished with 13 points and eight boards for the Mavericks, who have won seven in a row at Orlando.

The Magic continued their troubles at home, falling for the eighth time in their last nine games. Glen Davis tallied 24 points, six assists and six rebounds, Jameer Nelson poured in 20 points, and Nikola Vucevic had 14 points and 11 rebounds in the setback.

"We'll continue to work," said Orlando coach Jacque Vaughn. "That's the best part of it, we've got games ahead of us. We'll continue to work and that's our best approach."

Orlando came out strong, taking a 14-2 lead to begin the game, but Dallas rallied to go ahead by quarter's end and the Magic were forced to play from behind for most of the remainder of the contest.

Trailing by as many as 13 in the fourth, the Magic cut the Mavericks' lead to 104-102 with less than a minute remaining following Vucevic's baseline jumper.

After Darren Collison drained a triple from the corner on the ensuing possession for Dallas, J.J. Redick answered with a 3-pointer at the other end, but time was working against the Magic.

They were forced to foul the rest of the game and Nowitzki and Mayo each sank a pair from the line to put the contest out of reach.

After falling behind by 14 in the first, the Mavericks used a 19-2 push to take the lead before carrying a 26-24 edge into the second quarter.

The Magic took a brief one-point lead early in the second following a Redick triple, but the Mavericks regained control soon after.

After Elton Brand put Dallas back in front with a running hook, Marion finished back-to-back scores inside to create a five-point edge.

The Mavericks then made their final seven shots from the field -- including a 3-pointer each from Nowitzki and Collison -- to take a 57-48 advantage into halftime.

Dallas took a 63-52 lead early in the third following a triple by Mayo and a technical free throw by Collison. The Magic pulled even near the midway point of the quarter after a pair of Davis scores bookended an 11-0 run, but the Mavericks never let them move in front and they went on to carry an 85-75 edge into the fourth.
